Job Summary:
QualityLogic is a leading software testing company that is looking for team members to invest in and promote from within. The Software Tester role involves following test plans to identify hardware and software defects, testing various applications, and assisting project management and design teams to ensure product quality.
Responsibilities:
• In this position you will follow test plans and instructions provided by the project manager or project lead and assist in identifying hardware and software defects in the products under test.
• Test software / hardware functionality, compatibility, and system integration
• Test software per the hardware configuration and software test plan
• Test websites and ecommerce systems
• Test mobile applications and mobile web sites
• Duplicate and characterize defects for the development teams
• Assist the design team in the failure analysis of defects
• Assist the project management team as required to accomplish the goals of the project
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience in a structured test environment a plus
• Strong computer skills
• Good writing skills
• Knowledge of mobile applications on iOS and Android operating systems
• Good understanding of PC\Network configurations
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Good work ethic
• Team player
